About Us

Welcome to Yates Heating & Air.

After returning from a stint in the Navy, Carl worked for a heating and air conditioning company based out of Hot Springs, AR. Carl and Mary moved their family back to their hometown of Plainview, AR in 1986 where Carl began his business as YATES HTG & A/C, INC. Carl built a very successful business in Yell County during his 13 plus years in Plainview. Carl and Mary have always stood for friendly service. As Carl says, “We don’t leave until the customer is satisfied.” So with that attitude, the business grew to a point where Carl and Mary decided to add a second location in Russellville, AR to better serve their customers. In 2010, they moved to a location just off of Main Street, and 2012, they purchased the property where their current office is located, on the corner of South Elmira and 16th Street.

Carl and Mary have three children and six grandchildren and spend as much time as possible with their family. Family has always meant a lot to them both. When they say family owned and operated, they mean it.
YATES HTG & A/C, INC. covers a wide area. At the present time, they cover these counties: Pope, Yell, Perry, Logan, Johnson, and the surrounding areas. They have 10 employees which include certified Trane technicians, customer relation personnel, and office management.
Carl still works in the business everyday and makes sure his customers are receiving the type of service that he requires. Whether it’s installing a new heating and cooling system or looking for quality service on your existing system, call YATES HTG & A/C, INC.
